Joseph Albosta completed his law degree from Michigan State University. While at MSU Law, Joseph completed the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute, where he learned what it takes to become a fierce advocate for his clients. Upon graduation, Joseph completed a clerkship with Hon. Fred L. Borchard in the 10th Circuit Court of Saginaw County. After the clerkship, Joseph accepted a position in the Saginaw County Prosecutor’s Office as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. Joseph honed his craft as a trial attorney. Mr. Albosta led narcotics prosecutions, headed up the asset forfeiture unit, and was the Office’s Chief Appellate Attorney. Mr. Albosta has practiced in numerous counties around the Great Lakes Bay region and has argued before the Court of Appeals and Michigan Supreme Court.

Mr. Albosta is a firm believer in planning for the future. When Mr. Albosta left the Prosecutor’s Office, he worked toward and received the Institute for Continuing Legal Education’s Probate and Estate Planning Certificate. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Albosta worked in the Michigan House of Representatives. He has been active in politics since high school and consulted on numerous successful campaigns for candidates as well as ballot proposals.

An active member of the Great Lakes Bay community, Mr. Albosta has volunteered his time to a number of organizations. He has been a Board Member of Trout Unlimited, served on a committee with the Saginaw Bay Symphany Orchestra, and was President of the Fordney Club of Saginaw County (2022-2023) and President of the Saginaw County Bar Association (2022-2023), In 2023, Mr. Albosta received the Bar Association’s Community Service Award.
